Pristine Motors (“we”, “us”) sells quality used vehicles from St Michael Rd, Mombasa, Kenya. This policy explains what personal data we collect through this website, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the rights you have under Kenya’s Data Protection Act, 2019.

What we collect
Information you give us. When you use our contact form or the “Notify me” form on an incoming vehicle, we collect:
- your name
- your phone number
- your email address, if you choose to give it
- your message, and the vehicle you are asking about
When you contact us by WhatsApp, phone or email instead, we receive whatever details you share with us there.
Information collected automatically. Like almost every website, our web host keeps standard server logs — your IP address, browser type, the pages you requested and when — to keep the site secure and working. We do not use analytics or advertising trackers.
Why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry, answer questions about a vehicle and arrange a viewing — because you asked us to.
- To let you know when an incoming vehicle arrives — because you asked us to, using the “Notify me” form.
- To keep a record of enquiries and any resulting sale, as a business must.
- To protect the website and our forms from spam and abuse.
We do not sell your personal data, and we will not send you marketing about other vehicles unless you ask us to.
Who we share it with
We only share personal data with service providers that help us run this website and reply to you:
- our web hosting provider, which stores the website and the enquiries sent through it;
- our email provider, which delivers enquiry notifications to our inbox;
- hCaptcha, which checks form submissions for spam and may process information about your device and browser to do so;
- Google, whose map is shown on our Contact page;
- Trustindex, which displays our Google reviews on the homepage;
- WhatsApp (Meta), when you choose to message us there.
Some of these providers may process data outside Kenya. Where they do, we rely on them to protect it with appropriate safeguards. We may also disclose information where the law requires us to.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry and any sale that follows, and for no more than two years after our last contact with you — unless the law requires us to keep records of a sale for longer.
Cookies and similar technologies
This website does not set tracking or advertising cookies. If you switch between dark and light mode, your choice is saved in your own browser so the site remembers it; it never leaves your device. Services embedded on our pages — the Google map, hCaptcha and the reviews widget — may set their own cookies, under their own privacy policies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
Keeping it safe
The website is served over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, and enquiries can only be viewed by authorised staff through a password-protected admin area. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your data.
Your rights
Under the Data Protection Act, 2019 you have the right to:
- be told how your personal data is used;
- see the personal data we hold about you;
- have incorrect data corrected;
- have your data deleted;
- object to, or ask us to restrict, how we use it;
- withdraw your consent at any time.

Children
This website is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.
